This Lifespan Integration Level 2 training in the UK is designed for therapists who want to advance their trauma therapy skills, deepen their understanding of implicit memory work and gain confidence using intermediate LI protocols. As one of the key stages in the Lifespan Integration therapist training pathway, Level 2 helps you work more effectively with complex trauma, attachment wounds and early developmental experiences.
This 2-day training gives you a deeper clinical understanding, more confidence and a wider range of protocols to use in your practice.

Advancing Your Clinical Skills in LI Trauma Therapy
By the end of this Level 2 trauma therapy training, you will be able to:
- Work more confidently with complex trauma presentations
- Support clients whose systems become dysregulated or overwhelmed
- Understand when and how to introduce intermediate LI protocols
- Deepen your attunement skills and stay regulated as a therapist
- Strengthen your treatment planning with a more nuanced understanding of LI
- Support clients in integrating earlier developmental and attachment-based experiences
Level 2 helps you move from knowing the structure of LI to feeling more fluent and intuitive in using it.
Who is the Level 2 Training For
This Lifespan Integration Level 2 training is suitable for therapists who have completed Level 1. We would recommend that you have completed a minimum of 1 hour of supervision with an approved LI supervisor. It is also recommended to experience at least one session of Baseline Protocol from a certified LI therapist before doing Level 2, but this is not a requirement. It is ideal for Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Psychologists and other qualified professionals seeking advanced training in implicit memory integration, attachment‑focused therapy and complex trauma work.
Experiential Practice Sessions in Level 2
Every Level 2 Lifespan Integration training includes:
- Three supervised practice sessions where you’ll get to be the therapist, client, and observer
- Opportunities to practise intermediate LI protocols
- The chance to work more deeply with attunement and regulation
- Supportive feedback from trainers
All practice sessions must be completed to receive credit for the training.
Level 2 Protocols: What You Will Learn in This Trauma Therapy Training
In this Lifespan Integration Level 2 training, you will learn two core protocols that deepen the foundational work of Level 1. These protocols help you work more confidently with trauma that remains unresolved and with protective systems that formed early in life.
🔓 Standard Protocol
Helps the system process and release past painful or traumatic experiences that feel stuck or unresolved. This protocol supports the nervous system in recognising that the danger has passed, allowing integration, regulation and relief.
🛡️ Baseline Plus Protocol
Honours the protective system’s original wisdom while gently updating it with the understanding that the present is safer than the past. This protocol helps clients soften long-standing defences and access greater stability and internal safety.

Requirements: To participate in this training course, you need to have completed the Level 1 Lifespan Integration Training. Please specify the date you completed this on your application form.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations up to 4 weeks before the training – 50% of course fee is retained. Other cancellations within 4 weeks of the training – 100% of course fee is retained. Please also read the full cancellation policy.
Meet Your Trainer
Vajralila (Lea) is a certified Lifespan Integration therapist, instructor and supervisor, trained to Level 4, with over 25 years of clinical experience. She brings deep expertise in trauma, attachment and nervous-system-based work, and is widely recognised for her clear, grounded and compassionate teaching style.
As a facilitator, Vajralila is known for making complex material accessible and safe to learn. She supports therapists to develop confidence, attunement and clinical clarity, helping them integrate Lifespan Integration into their practice in a way that feels both structured and intuitive.
Her teaching is informed by extensive hands-on experience with complex trauma and early attachment work, making her especially well suited to guiding therapists through the LI training pathway.
