Meet The UK Trainers

Vajralila Lea

Lea (Vajralila)

I am a Lifespan Integration Certified Practitioner, Supervisor, UK Trainer, and Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist (PgDip) specialising in trauma, attachment, and complex living systems. With over 25 years exploring how humans naturally reorganise toward wholeness, my work integrates systems theory with deeply attuned, body-based therapeutic practice. I am particularly interested in how Lifespan Integration supports the nervous system to update implicit memory, integrate younger self-states, and restore a cohesive sense of self.

My clinical experience spans grassroots community organisations, addiction recovery settings, and LGBTQIA+ spaces, where I have worked with individuals and groups facing diverse and often marginalised experiences. These environments taught me the importance of attunement, relational safety, and the profound resilience of the human system when given the right conditions for healing.

Across all of my work, whether with trauma survivors, queer communities, or people in recovery, I hold a deep respect for each person’s inner wisdom — the “actualising tendency,” as Carl Rogers described. Lifespan Integration aligns closely with this belief, allowing the system to reorganise naturally, with the therapist offering presence, containment, and trust.

Outside of my clinical practice, I live with my wife and our two beloved Irish doodles, who keep life joyful and grounded. My personal inspirations include Buddhism and non-duality teachings, Kirtan, Joanna Macy’s wisdom, Peggy Pace’s discoveries with timeline repetition, Brandi Carlile’s music, and the raw, courageous poetry of the late Andrea Gibson. These influences continue to shape my understanding of healing, interconnectedness, and the creative unfolding of the human journey.

Kirsty Vickerman

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist working within the NHS and in private practice and have 30 years experience of working as a clinician.
My main areas of interest include:

  • Adult neurological disorders
  • Speech and language disorders
  • Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)
  • PTSD and complex trauma
  • Attachment trauma
  • Over-caring and burnout

I discovered Lifespan Integration in 2010, completed my training in 2016 and have predominantly used it ever since with most clients and in particular within the field of Functional Neurological Disorders (FND).

I am interested in LI’s role in clearing psychological trauma as well as relieving medically unexplained symptoms. LI works with a broad range of problems, and I have found that many psychological/physical symptoms of stress can be eliminated or at least significantly reduced.

Throughout my career I have always enjoyed training Clinical practitioners, trainee Clinical Psychologists and trainee Psychotherapists. I am particularly interested in training the LI methodology to as many Therapists/Clinicians as possible since I have witnessed it to have such a profound and positive effect on clients’ nervous systems, as well as on my own.
